Meldotia is a venture studio founded by KaYu Ling. Our work starts with the systems people rely on every day: receiving a delivery, finding a home, and moving through a city. We question familiar assumptions and explore how product strategy, design, technology, and capital can work together to make those systems more useful. This website introduces our thinking and the venture concepts we are developing.
Three areas of exploration
MetroLogix explores building-integrated delivery access and ways to reduce repeated delivery attempts. ThirdChoice examines a more flexible relationship between renting and owning a home. TrafficOS explores coordinated urban traffic at vehicle, route, and city scales. The project pages explain the proposals and their intended outcomes; forecasts and targets describe ambitions rather than guaranteed results or evidence of deployed services.
